Origin
A limited-edition premium sake from Shirataki, crafted in the snowy heart of Echigo-Yuzawa. The number 42 refers to two defining elements: the rice polishing ratio and the exceptional softness of Shirataki’s water, measured at just 42 ppm. Snowmelt travels slowly for approximately 50 years from the mountain peaks, filtering through layers of earth and rock before emerging into the brewery’s wells as exceptionally clear, soft, and pure water.
